Farm Museum

We visited the farm museum this week while the kids were off from school. They had lots of fun...riding tractors, playing in the general store, making biscuits, and racing horses.

Christmas 2012

Nutcracker

Last weekend we went to see a puppet version of the nutcracker. I don't think the kids blinked once. After, we found a playground close by to burn off some energy.

PJs

Emmett has a new obsession with his PJs. Since the nights are getting colder and Emmett refuses to sleep under covers, I pulled out the fleece feetie PJs. He hated these last year, but I thought I would give them a try. He loves them so much he actually begged to wear them to take a nap on the weekend. Recently we have been skipping the weekend naps. After school he wants to put them on right when he gets home, but I convince him to wait. He's so funny!

It's fun to see Aria and Emmett find a friend in each other :)

Applesauce

Every year my mom makes applesauce to enjoy year round. This year the kids helped out...for about 20 minutes. They were really into it for those 20 minutes!

Halloween 2012

All Aria wants for Christmas is her 2 front teeth!

A week before Aria's 6th birthday, she lost her 6th tooth leaving a large gaping hole in the front of her mouth.

Aria can tie her shoes!

I showed Aria how to tie her shoes a couple months ago and this morning she insisted on wearing her laced shoes...and tying them! I asked her where she learned it and she told me I taught her :) Funny how things just click one day.

Park fun!

We discovered today both Aria and Emmett are thrill seekers. Since Aria is a little taller she was able to ride a few coasters and LOVED it! Emmett was loving all the kiddie rides too. We had a fun day.

The tooth fairy is going broke...

Aria lost another tooth! She currently has 3 gaping holes in the front of her mouth.

Legos

Kevin has been building his large scale star wars millennium falcon (it's a ship for those like me that don't know what that is) and the kids are loving playing with the bricks! Emmett designed his own plane by himself. Aria made her own ship too! Too bad they get upset when Kevin needs the pieces.

Swim Class

The kids started swim class two months ago. Aria has had some swim lessons before, but this was Emmett's first time. Both are doing great! Emmett finally put his head in the water today so his ears got wet. Aria can now float unassisted and can take a couple strokes on her own. She has no problem with water in her eyes or putting her face in...which used to be a hang up for her. Aria leveled up today in her class and got to pick out a toy! The kids also get a quarter after every class to pick a treat from a dispenser. I'm so glad they are enjoying swimming!
