This weekend we visited the Reston Zoo for the first time. We weren't exactly sure how Aria would react. She was okay as long as the animals were slow moving like the turtles or behind glass like the reptiles. The sheep, goats, birds and monkeys were just a little bit too much for her to handle. Overall it was nice to get out and see something a little different. See pictures/video below:

I didn't know birds were so scary (especially caged ones)...

how fun! we still have *yet* to take Paige to the zoo...poor deprived little gal. looks like you all had a great time. we spent our weekend hiking and playing at a water park - we *have* to take you there when you visit. aria will have a blast!
That is a great idea! We should take a trip to a petting zoo! You guys look like you had fun. And boy, she really does love sticks, doesn't she?
